Why do you think Asian women and White men are such a popular pair?

Being from California you see that pair every where, its also all over television and movies, pornography featuring White men and Asian women is already more popular then any other genera. Its the largest interracial pair in the US already and could grow to be half of all interracial pairs in the US. So why so you think this pair is so popular? Out of all the possible pairs why have Asian women and white men gotten together more then others? Do White men just get along better with Asian women then other women? Do Asian women generally prefer White men?
