Why are Russian brides supposed to be the best wives?

It seems to me there is a tendency in our society that Russian or Ukrainian brides become more and more popular. But I wonder why this is so. I have recently visited behappy2day.com and was surprised at how interested they are in foreign men. Is this really so? Are foreigners so popular among Russian women?
